The Day the Letter Came

Hi everyone! My name is Ashley or you can call me Ash. So I have been watching the vlogs and have been quite entertained but I am better at writing than talking so I decided to create a blog. I promised myself I only would create one if and only if I got accepted into the Disney College Program. And since I am at the moment writing this, I guess that explains the unsaid: I GOT IN!

I graduate May 9th, go to Hawaii May 10th, and will be arriving for the college program in Florida May 27th. May is officially my new favorite month.

So here is the story, I got off of work early and walked home (since I live 50 feet away from work) and to my surprise found myself racing to the mailbox. However, I spent last week practically hovering by the mailbox and I thought that I had lost all hope with no letter last week. But as soon as I was running I knew the letter was there- just an odd feeling. I peered in and there it was- a large letter and inside was the beautiful purple folder!

I will be working Merchandise at Disney World for the Fall Advantage program and can not wait!

So my first time to Disney World was when I was 21 years old (I am 22 now) and it was a family vacation. I never knew how big it was and was shocked. My friend came along and she knew pretty much every Disney fact there is and has been down there working attractions since fall advantage 2008. I knew I would apply once I came home from my vacation but would have to wait till I graduated from college since I had a lease. This has been a long wait and now I have to wait more till I go down to Florida.

I will try to give updates when I can and only when I got juicy news. But yay and have a great day!
