Just an Update

Hello All!

This week was rather eventful but I first must mention it is exactly two months now till I fly down to Florida! Okay onto what is going on. First off, last week was Spring Break. I worked the weekend, which was dead slow, and then headed to the Westside of the state to spend with my family. I had fun visiting my grandparents and seeing old friends. My grandpa took me on a joyride in his new Cadillac XLR and all I got to say is WOW!

And then on Saturday one set of my parents and I drove back over to school. We got about half my stuff packed up so that my parents could take it home. Now this sounds great all because I’ve now completed stage one of the packing process for Disney, but no it is not great! Because today I woke up to snow and I sent all my winter clothes home. Luckily it was just a wet snow but still tomorrow there is a seventy percent chance of snow! However, I did go shopping with my mother for summer clothes and I found some pretty cute outfits.

Other good news is that my friend that I am going to Hawaii with after graduation and I now officially have an awesome Hawaiian hotel. I am pretty sure it is called Park Shore and it really close to the Honolulu Zoo, so of course I am happy. We are going to do the Diamond Head Hike, go to Pearl Harbor, a luau, the beach and much, much more! Less than a month and a half away! I have never been to Hawaii and this will be such an awesome treat for graduation and honestly I could think of very few people that I would want to go on this trip. So I am thrilled to be going with the friend that I am going with because I think we have the same image of what a vacation in Hawaii is.

Next, my sister is having a baby in the next few weeks. I plan on trying to get vacation time from Disney so that I can fly up to Virginia sometime hopefully in the summer to see my new niece and also visit my other sister too. I hope it will work out though I know I will not have much time to visit my sisters and their families.

Alrighty got to go! Bye bye!

Just Waiting for Disney

Good evening! So there is not really news, but I figured I would give an update. Most people left town today for Spring Break, however I am still here because I am going to work the next two days at work. Hopefully it will not be as busy as today, especially since just me and one other girl will be cooking. I go home Monday around noon. I have not been home since the New Years, so I’ve home sick but only when I let myself think about it. It will be nice to see my cats, Annie and Tinkerbell.

After break, my parents are driving me back and helping me pack of some stuff, even though we are only half way through the semester. But I need to get ready now for packing for Hawaii and then Disney World. I really just wish I could fast forward my life till move in day down in Florida. There are so many reasons to look forward to leaving Pullman and school. I hope all my troubles now will disappear as soon as I am away from here. I really don’t have troubles per se, just it has been somewhat lonely readjusting to life back out here in Pullman since I moved back. I know my decision to go home was one of the best choices I will have ever made, but there still are the regrets that came with that choice.

Anyways on to happier stuff… I pretty much can not think about anything else but Disney World. I am disappointed that I will not get to work at the Zoo once again this summer, but I think this is a positive change in my life. I see all my friends about to graduate from college too and most of them are scared to death because they do not know what they will be doing after May. It is comforting knowing I at least have a seventh moth plan. I did not expect that my life would take this path, but once again one of my mother’s suggestions turned out to be in my best interest. I am to see how I will change in those seven months. Hopefully, I will make a few good friends and have memories that last a life time. I hope the experience will give me the strength to continue with my dreams of traveling and exploring. You know would be kind of cool, if I got to try some true Cajun food while I am there- like gators. Only once though because I rather see live wild gators if anything. Alright I will try to update this regularly as time gets closer to moving down to Disney World.
